Mount Vernon - Academic Support Center

The Mount Vernon Academic Support Center is open to all Westchester Community College students. At the center, tutors offer assistance with Writing, Reading, ESL, Math (Pre-Algebra, Beginning Algebra, and College Algebra), Spanish, CIS and Accounting, and Principles of Inorganic Chemistry coursework. In addition all Pre-Nursing students are welcome

Mount Vernon ASC tutors assist students in building academic skills and offer support and encouragement to students as they develop into active and independent learners. In the fall and spring semesters, Mount Vernon ASC staff offer workshops designed to assist students in developing skills that are essential for success in college, as well as semester end review workshops.
