TD BANK AND THE TC CHARITABLE FOUNDATION DONATE  $10,000 TO WESTCHESTER COMMUNITY COLLEGE, UNDERWRITING CELEBRITY SALON SERIES

Westchester Community College has received a $10,000 donation from TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank ® and the TD Charitable Foundation, the giving arm of the bank, to underwrite the costs of the college Foundation’s annual Celebrity Salon Series. The series offers a variety of lectures and conversations with nationally-renowned individuals. Each event, held in a private home, raises contributions for the Westchester Community College Scholarship Program with proceeds going toward student scholarships.

“We are thankful to TD Bank for helping us in this effort to raise funds for student scholarships,” says Shirley Phillips, the college’s vice president of external affairs and executive director of the Foundation. “This generous donation will allow us to help even more students with the funds they need to continue their education,” she says.
