Giving Opportunities: Special Project Grants
Campaigns
Periodically, the Foundation conducts special campaigns to raise
substantial funds for building projects or for special programs.
These campaigns offer opportunities for the Foundation to
recognize certain donors of substantial gifts by naming certain
facilities or programs.
Special Projects
Westchester Community College has a reputation for opportunity
and innovation in education. There are several unique
on-going programs and innovative projects in development for
which major funding is being sought. Major gifts have
helped to support study abroad programs, establish new
curriculum and degree programs, develop special honors programs,
and create major scholarship funds, among other important
initiatives. Examples include the
Davis Global Scholars, Study Abroad at
Cambridge,
Online Education,
Women’s Workplace Culture Coaching program and Distinguished Faculty Chairs.
The Westchester Community College Foundation welcomes the
